What to know when participating

Be part of a positive community

We all share the same goal at kwizkid: having fun with quizzes! Please treat hosts and fellow participants with the same respect you'd like to receive. We're building a community where everyone feels welcome regardless of background, identity, or experience level. Bullying, harassment, or discriminatory behavior has no place here (or elsewhere) and may result in removal from quiz events.

Play with integrity

The joy of quizzes comes from the challenge! Unless your host specifically allows it, try to answer from your own knowledge rather than searching for answers. Not only is this more satisfying, but it keeps the competition fair for everyone. Follow the quiz host's instructions about how to participate, submit answers, and interact with other players.

Mind your content

If you're participating in a quiz that allows you to upload images or content as part of your answers, remember that you're responsible for what you share. Make sure your uploads are appropriate for all participants and don't contain offensive material. Also, don't upload content that might infringe on someone else's copyright. For your privacy, know that any content you upload will be automatically deleted after 30 days.

Understand your privacy

One of the great things about kwizkid is that you can participate without creating an account! Here's what happens with your information when you join a quiz:

• Quiz responses are stored to calculate results and are visible to the quiz host
• Basic device information is collected to ensure the platform works properly
• You can use a nickname instead of your real name if you prefer

When things go wrong

If something doesn't feel right during a quiz – whether it's inappropriate content or someone not following these guidelines – please let the quiz host know in the first place. Quiz hosts have the ability to remove participants who disrupt the experience for others. If necessary, you can also notify us.

• Your quiz host (not kwizkid) is solely responsible for prize distribution (if any) in competitive quizzes
• By participating, you're agreeing to these guidelines and our Terms and Conditions
• Have fun! Quizzes are meant to be engaging and enjoyable for everyone
